Shaun Su

Director of animated films, commercials, and music videos. Animation supervisor for feature films.

Su won the Best Animation award at Taipei Film Festival in 2006 for his work Contagion, and in the following year won the Best Animation award at the Taipei Film Festival and the Special Jury Prize at Taiwan International Animation Exhibition for “Check Mate”. Su has directed numerous music videos and worked as the animation supervisor for Taiwanese drama films, such as Love You 10000 Years, Forever Love, When a Wolf Falls in Love with a Sheep, and Women Who Flirt. In 2015, Su directed two short films, The Horror Box and My Dream Place Born in 60 Seconds— Condensation. He is now shooting his first feature length film.

Sanvy Hsieh

Hsieh showed a talent for painting at a very early age. After graduating from college, she changed her career path resolutely from business and trade to animation. Hsieh has devoted herself to Taiwanese animation industry for more than 20 years. Since 2007 she has been the director of Animation Development Office of Gamania Digital Entertainment. Su cooperated with Cartoon Network in launching the animation series Hero 108 and put Taiwanese Animation on the international stage. Peripheral products of the animation have also been released. Hsieh was also engaged in producing Mig Said, an original Taiwanese short film series featuring a square-headed lion. Hsieh loves to see more talents participating in the animation industry and hopes that Taiwanese original animation will make a name in the world.

Joe Hsieh

Hsieh is famous for exploring the dark side of human nature with his thriller-style works. In 2008, Hsieh’s Meat Days was nominated at Busan International Film Festival and at Hiroshima International Animation Festival. In 2014, The Present was nominated at Sundance Film Festival, won the award for the Best Animated Film at San Diego Asian Film Festival, and nominated for Golden Horse Awards in the best short film category.
