Synopsis

It is said that an ancient charm is practiced in a village in the mountains of South China practices: “GU”. A young girl hoping to find love decides to recreate this thousand year practice…

Director

HUANG, as a Taiwanese Animator, Director HUANG worked as a Story Artist for SOFA Studio, during which also performed as Director for special projects. Gu is an original story created by Director HUANG, with influences of Chinese minority tribes. The story is delivered by delicate balance of hand-crafted 2D animation with smooth and exquisite 3D computer animation. It is a work of true romance immersed in a magical Eastern environment.
