Born in 1976 in Fremont, California, Oscar nominee DON HERTZFELDT’s animated shorts include Billy’s Balloon, Rejected, I Am So Proud of You and The Meaning of life. His work has received over 200 awards and recently appeared on The Simpsons. His first feature, It’s Such a Beautiful Day, was critically acclaimed as one of the best films of 2012. After 20 years of animating traditionally, this is his first all-digital production. He currently lives in Austin, Texas.
