Synopsis

With the war tearing my grandfather’s life apart, and he keep nothing but only the sketch for the memory of his first love. However, it’s just the beginning to find him back.

Director

De-Chuen WU
Studied Visual Art at New York University, and is currently teaching at Tunghai University’s Art department. Theme of his works mostly revolves around his background, growing up in the countryside. His works were invited to festivals all over the world, including which his Simple Task won Best Animation short at Taipei Film Festival in 2010 and was nominated Best short film at the Golden Horse Festival. Unknown Memory won the Best Animation Short at the 2014 Taipei Film Festival; the technique for the film was unique and talks about the relationships among people these days.
