Synopsis
A lively portrayal of Master Hokusai's daughter, O-Ei, a free-spirited, outspoken and very talented woman who changes with the seasons. "We're father and daughter with two brushes and four chopsticks. I guess we can manage, one way or another."

Born in 1959, Hara Keiichi's credits include hit family series, such as Doraemon and Crayon Shin-Chan. International recognition came with Summer Days with Coo (2007) and Annecywinner (Audience Award and Special Distinction for a feature) Colorful (2010), both awarded at the Japanese Academy Awards and theatrically distributed in France and elsewhere. He admires classic filmmakers such as Ozu Yasujiro and Kinoshita Keisuke to whom he dedicated his first live-action film in 2013.Schedule
