蔡旭晟

Tsai Shiu-Cheng

Animation director. Born in Fenshang, a small town in the city of Kaohsiung in 1979, Tsai has immersed himself in visual arts such as drawing, animation, cartoon, cinema and literature at a young age. After graduating from college, he studied animation design for his MFA degree and began his career in animation arts. He received his MFA in Tainan National University of the Arts Graduate Institute of Animation and Film Art and since then, he has continued working at his studio to create original animations with local Taiwanese style.
He was one of the final round judges for Tokyo Anime Award Festival Short Animation Competition. His works have received Tokyo Anime Award Festival Open Entry Grand Prize, Tokyo Anime Award Festival Business Award-Warner Mycal Award, Urban Nomad Film Fest The Big Nomad Prize. His award-winning animation has been broadcasted at Warner Mycal Theaters all over Japan in 2013. His animation has been broadcasted in 2012 Centre Georges-Pompidou’s Taiwan Anime Week.

潘心屏

Hsinping Pan

Pan graduated from National Taiwan University with a major in Business Management. She received her MFA from University of Southern California’s Animation and Digital Arts and after gradation, she joined Lila Roger’s Studio. She enjoyed drawing, animated arts and she is fond of children’s picture books. Her interests have inspired her to make animation short films in a picture book style.
Her animation short films have been nominated at various international film festivals. Her work, “Blue Rain” was nominated for 2003 Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival Digital Shorts Competition; her other work, “Small & Deep, Love Stories, ” has won 2006 Taiwan International Animation Festival Grand Prize and 2005 Taipei Film Festival Special Jury Prize. Her illustrations have received 3x3 International Illustration Show Bronze Award.
She is now working on animation and illustration design in Taiwan and the United States, collaborating with Noble Studios for commercial and animation music videos. Her works can be seen on numerous magazines, books, CD covers, etc.

張師堯

Chang Shih-Yao

「Representative for FFITI, creator and anime practitioner at AnimApp. Chang loves to create and share his animation designs and learn from the others. He was one of the judges for preliminary review for Hsin-yi Children's Animation Awards and he was the representative for Taiwanese judges at Taiwan Animation Festival. He joined the production for Sodagreen Taipei Arena Concert “Endless Stories” and 26th Golden Melody Award performance “Storm Signal No.8.”
Chang excelled in 3D animation, his works have been nominated for Golden Harvest Award and Golden Tripod Awards. He has received awards at Golden Bell Awards, Vision Get Wild Award, Bahamut Gamer ACG Competition, etc. In his spare time, he worked at AnimApp, a platform that aims to share international news on animation industry, talented projects, new methods and trends. He focuses on animation short films, an art that receives little attention in Taiwan yet requires utmost creativity. He hopes to share all sorts of animation news and provide a space for talented creators to showcase their works, adding values to their animation designs.
