康斯坦汀・布朗茲

Konstantin BRONZIT

Born on April 12, 1965 in St. Petersburg in Russia. After graduating from art school in 1983, Bronzit began attending the High Institute of Art and Design where he studied at the evening department. While studying from 1985 to 1990, he simultaneously worked as an animator at a studio famous for its science films. At that studio in 1988, he made his first short film The Round-About. In 1994, he graduated from high courses of scriptwriters and directors in Moscow with class master Fjodor Khitruk. He was nominated for French Film Academy Award "Cezar" (for animated short film At the Ends of the Earth) in 2011, and was nominated for Oscar twice (Lavatory – Lovestory, 2009 and We Can't Live Without Cosmos, 2016). He has become a member of French Film Academy since 2001, also a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences since 2009. Now he lives in St. Petersburg and works at "Melnitsa" animation studio as a supervisor.

Ann Marie Fleming

Ann Marie Fleming is a Canadian independent filmmaker, writer and artist. Born in Okinawa, of Chinese and Australian parentage, her work often deals with themes of family, history and memory and she is very much interested in the intersections of cultures and she brings this hybridity in to the way she makes art. Working fluidly between animation, dramatic and documentary genres, in both short and long formats, Fleming has created over 30 films that have been screening in festivals all over the world, many of them starring her avatar, “Stick Girl”. She adapted her award winning feature length animated documentary, The Magical Life of Long Tack Sam, into a graphic novel that won the Doug Wright Award for best Canadian comic and was also nominated for 2 Eisner awards. Her short films, Blue Skies and New Shoes: An Interview in Exactly 5 Minutes won best Canadian short at the Toronto International Film Festival. She loves the short film.

丹尼爾・蘇吉

Daniel Šuljić

Born 1971 in Zagreb, Croatia, Daniel Šuljić is an animation film artist and musician. He studied at Academy of fine arts in Zagreb, and then studied painting and animation at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. His diploma film Sun, salt and sea was awarded with distinction by the University. He was the lecturer for classical animation at the Timebased media department of Universität für künstlerische und Industrielle Gestaltung, Linz, Austria from 2005~2008. In 2006 he was given the title of honorary professor at Jilin College of the Arts Animation School, Changchun, China. From 2009~2012, he was an animation guest lecturer at Academy of fine arts, Zagreb. He became artistic director of the World festival of animated films Animafest Zagreb in 2011. His films were shown at many animation festivals, and earned 21 awards so far. He was the jury member of many international festival competitions. He is also currently producing music with his new band, Roppongi Red.

Jay Shih

C. Jay Shih started shooting 8mm animations and experimental films since 1980s. Being a college student, he already won a few times of Golden Harvest Short Film Competition Awards in Taiwan. After graduating from university, he and friends founded the first claymation studio, Cats, in Taiwan. From 1988 and 1992, he studied for a master degree in New York Institute of Technology, majoring in computer graphics. In 1992, he came back to Taipei and made two animations, Taipei Taipei and Post Human, which won the best animation award in Golden Horse Award. In 1998, he was invited to be the Director of Graduate Institute of Animation of Tainan National College of the Arts. Since 2004 July, he has been teaching at the Department of Multimedia and Animation Arts of National Taiwan University of Arts, and continuing his dedication to animation education. His collaborated work, A Fish with a Smile, has won the jury award of 56th Berlinale Kinderfilmfest in 2006.

邱立偉

Chiu Li-Wei

Chiu Li-Wei, an animation film director, holds a master degree from Tainan National University of the Arts, and a PhD degree from Beijing Film Academy. He was a senior researcher in Hollywood in 2003, and was invited to give a speech in the FMX 2011, the pageant of Europe digital animation in Germany. His current job is the director of Studio2 animation lab and the assistant professor of Tainan National University of the Arts. Chiu’s works have won numerous awards, including Golden Monkey King Award at 2011 China International Cartoon & Animation Festival, Special Jury Prize at 2012 Seoul International Cartoon and Animation Festival, Best Visual Effects and Best Animated Film at the 41th/44th Golden Horse Award, Grand Prize at Taipei Film Festival, etc. His films have also been nominated for competition at many international festivals. Moreover, his installation artworks have been exhibited in National Art Museum of China in Beijing, and Flushing Council on Culture and the Arts in New York.
