Synopsis
Manang Biring is a dark comedy-drama about a feisty, terminally ill old lady who has long accepted her imminent passing due to stage-4 breast cancer but then receives an unexpected letter from an estranged loved one announcing their return for Christmas.

CARL JOSEPH E. PAPA is a software engineer by profession but filmmaking has always been his passion. He first dabbled into filmmaking through eMo , a stop-motion claymation which earned him Honorable Mention at the Gawad CCP in 2010. This encouraged him to create more films. In 2015, he wrote and directed his first animated feature film, Manang Biring , which was the first feature film from the Philippines to be part of Annecy International Animation Film Festival's official selection.Schedule
