Angela STEMPEL
Born in 1989 (San Francisco, CA) and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. Angela earned her BFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts (SMFA) in Boston, and her BA from Tufts University in 2011. She was the recipient of the Dehn Fellowship in 2010 to study abroad in Prague, and she received the Traveling Fellowship from SMFA in 2012. Her films have screened at the Ottawa International Animation Festival, the Museum of Fine Arts (Boston), the Festival Internacional de Cine de Cartagena de Indias (Colombia), Pesta Boneka Festival (Jogjakarta, Indonesia), and the REDCAT theater (Los Angeles). She is currently pursuing her MFA in Experimental Animation at CalArts. She lives and works in Los Angeles.
