Synopsis
-
A daughter's rage and rebellion against her possessive mother go unspoken, festering into repressed emotion that distorts her sense of self — until she transforms into a goldfish. Harsh treatment of herself and others mirrors the unresolved wounds of childhood. Gestures and silences carry what words cannot. The film moves toward a moment when the daughter finally permits herself to grieve, opening a path toward self-acceptance and forgiveness.
