Synopsis

Grandmother once dreamed of becoming a dancer, but caring for her disabled parents confined her to working as a ticket collector at the station. After they passed away, she married, believing she would finally be free to explore the world—but her wish, like threads of silk, kept entangling her in a small world. When she later learns that she too will become disabled, she rows her little boat with all her strength, determined not to let the next generation endure the same prison. She resolves to keep dancing, setting off toward the world.
