Synopsis

"Fan" narrates the journey of Ben, a Taiwanese entrepreneur, spanning from the 1950s to the present day. It unfolds the narrative of how Ben, armed with resilience and diligence, navigates through life. Despite facing setbacks caused by a typhoon and the painful loss of their son, Ben and his wife remained undeterred. Together, they transformed their modest ironworks into a multinational enterprise, symbolizing the collective contributions of numerous Taiwanese entrepreneurs to Taiwan's economic boom from the 1960s to the 1980s. Immersed in a watercolor art style, "Fan" pays homage to the modern artists of 20th-century Taiwan.
