Kids Drawing Fun Club
Purpose of event
Taichung International Animation Festival has been through four distinguished years! Have you ever seen the mermaid swimming under the sea? Or, have you ever seen a flying pig in the air? This time, the 2018 TIAF theme is “fantasy and the reality”, and we are looking forward to inviting all of you to show your imagination and participate in the event. Come to join us and imagine the clouds and stars chatting in the night sky, and imagine the pigs walking on the street suddenly waving their wings and flying to the moon!
Participation qulifications
All elementary school students (including the sixth grade students who will graduate this summer)
How to apply?
STEP 1 Download the file or contact us to get the drawing paper.
1.Download the file:
Please enter TIAF website twtiaf.com, click from the webpage and download the file. Print it out onto A3 (29.7 x 42 cm) paper and then start to show your imagination!
2.Contact us to get the drawing paper:
From July 2 to August 3 on workdays please come to Taichung City Dadun Cultural Center, Huludun Cultural Center, Seaport Art Center or Tun District art Center and contact the information desk for the drawing paper.
STEP 2 Fill in every question on the application sheet.
STEP 3 Send your final drawing work to

Application Time.
2018.07.02 Mon. Start to submit the application.
2018.08.03 Fri. The deadline for making an application, postmarked by 08/03.
2018.08.31 Fri. We will announce the result of the competition at 10 am on Fri. 08/31 on TIAF official website and TIAF Facebook fanpage. Also, the winner will be informed by a phone call and by a text message from TIAF officially.
The prizes:
1. Participation prize: The top 100 participants according to the order of the application time will receive a TIAF gift.
2. The best creative prize: The judges will choose 6 drawing works which are the most creative, and these works will win the TIAF special gift box and will be awarded a certificate of merit.
Terms and Conditions
1. Each participant is allowed to submit one drawing work, and duplicate applications are not permitted. Remember to fill in the application sheet carefully to maintain your qualification. Any incomplete information will be considered unqualified.
2. The submitted drawing paper will not be returned back. Please have your own scanned version if needed.
3. All entries shall become property of Taichung Film Development Foundation with the proviso that the Foundation shall only use them for the promotion of Taichung International Animation Festival and related events, but not for commercial gain.
4. All entries must be the original work of the entrant. Taichung Film Development Foundation reserves the right to void and/or disqualify any submission if found to be plagiarized, copied, or fraudulent.
5. Taichung Film Development Foundation reserves the right to change, re-schedule or cancel the event as a result of unforeseen events or circumstances beyond the control of Taichung Film Development Foundation.
